Cadenza International Summer Music School for Strings and Piano was founded in 1992. Each year an exceptional group of musicians from the age of 11 through to undergraduates, postgraduates, teachers, amateurs, and faculty meet for a week and collaborate in a flexible and creative environment.
Solo work, chamber music and string orchestra projects form the basis of the formal interactions, but we also make music socially in the evenings. There are performance opportunities throughout the week as we enjoy the wonderful facility that is the Purcell School.
